CMS
What does it mean
CMS stands for Content Management System, which is a software tool that allows users to create, edit, and publish content on a website without the need for programming knowledge or HTML code.
More info
The CMS contains a graphical interface that allows users to easily create and manage various types of content, such as articles, images, videos, and more. This content can then be organized and displayed on a website using various templates and designs that can be selected within the system.
These CMS are often used for creating websites, blogs, e-shops, and other types of web content. The advantage of a CMS is the quick and easy creation and management of content, which allows users to save time while focusing on creating quality content. A CMS can be either open source, which is freely available and allows developers to contribute to its improvement, or commercial, which is paid and provides more extensive features and support.
The first Slovak CMS was BUXUS from the ui42 workshop, which we have been developing since 1999.
