Who is Ahooy?
www.ahooy.sk is a unique e-shop where everyone who loves quality t-shirts, hoodies, accessories, and now even headbands with an original look can find something for themselves. The founders of the e-shop, Ján and Marián Gondovci, constantly add new thematic designs or funny concepts to their offer, catering not only to ladies and gentlemen but also to children and even the whole family. All you need to do is choose your favorite motif (sports, hiking, love, unicorn, etc.), and in just a few days, a unique piece of clothing will complement anyone who wants to add a touch of uniqueness to their wardrobe.
Cooperation of Ahooy and ui42
Collaboration with Ahooy is nothing new for our teams. After jointly creating a custom e-shop on the BUXUS CMS, which eliminated the growth obstacles of their original e-shop, and integrating it with other systems (ERP system, labeling system, etc.), it was time to focus more on effective PPC campaigns to increase its profits. The task was clear - since Ahooy wanted to continue managing social media in-house, we focused on Google Ads. The challenge was even greater as the collaboration started in October, just when the e-commerce season was picking up speed.
Goals of cooperation
The result is an increase in sales on a year-on-year basis specifically in the period of October to December 2020 compared to October to December 2021. The revenue curve reached a growth of over 200% at certain points.

The beginning of the cooperation was marked by the establishment of new campaigns as well as the optimization of existing ones. The reserves that we decided to transform into more efficient settings were mainly found in search and discovery ads (ads on YouTube and Gmail channels). Our intervention primarily involved more effective keyword coverage and also addressed deficiencies in the UX area, which also had an impact on the results for that month. Although we achieved our set goal, there was still room for further improvement and opportunities.
