Founding of Apple and the Computer Revolution

Steve Jobs, along with his friend Steve Wozniak, founded Apple in 1976 in his parents' garage. Their first product, Apple I, was a personal computer with a simple design and basic components. However, it was with the introduction of the Apple II in 1977 that the company became revolutionary. The Apple II was one of the first successful personal computers and sparked enormous interest in this new category of devices.

Jobs had a constant desire to innovate and change the market. In 1984, Apple introduced the Macintosh, the first personal computer with a graphical user interface, which made it easier to use compared to the then-common text commands. This step brought computers to a wider audience and helped Apple differentiate itself from the competition.

Departure from Apple and Return

In 1985, Jobs was ousted from Apple after internal conflicts and differences of opinion with the management. However, Jobs did not give up and founded a new company, NeXT, which focused on developing advanced computer systems for educational institutions and businesses. Although NeXT was not commercially successful, its technologies were highly advanced and later became the foundation for the operating system we use today in Apple computers.

At the same time, Jobs purchased Pixar in 1986, a small animation company that eventually became a leader in animated films. Thanks to movies like Toy Story, Pixar changed the world of film animation.

In 1997, when Apple found itself in crisis, Jobs returned to the company after its acquisition of NeXT. His return meant the salvation of Apple. Jobs became CEO again and brought with him a new vision and products that changed the technological world.

The Golden Era of Products: iPod, iPhone, and iPad

Steve Jobs is responsible for some of the greatest technological innovations of the 21st century. In 2001, Apple introduced the iPod, which completely changed the way people listen to music. Six years later, in 2007, the iPhone hit the market, a revolutionary product that defined a new era of smartphones. Jobs' emphasis on design, ease of use, and innovation made the iPhone not only a technological but also a cultural icon.

Another major breakthrough was the introduction of the iPad in 2010, a device that created a new category of products – tablets. Jobs always emphasized creating products that were intuitive and provided users with a great experience.

Steve Jobs as a Leader and Visionary

Jobs was not just a technologist but also a visionary with a unique approach to business. His ability to anticipate consumer needs and desires, combined with perfectionism and attention to detail, set him apart from other industry leaders. He was known for his high demands and rigor towards his employees, but the result of his uncompromising approach was products that were technologically advanced yet easy to use.

His presentations of new products, known as keynotes, were always significant events and attracted the attention of the entire world. Jobs knew how to communicate a vision and excite millions of people about products that changed their lives.

Death and Legacy

Steve Jobs died on October 5, 2011, at the age of 56 after a long battle with pancreatic cancer. His departure left a huge mark not only in the technological world but also in pop culture and business. Apple, the company he founded, became one of the most valuable and influential companies in the world.

However, his legacy lives on. The innovations he brought changed the way we use technology, communicate, and create. Jobs reminded us that the combination of technology, art, and design can create something extraordinary, and that sometimes, to change the world, all it takes is one innovative idea.

Steve Jobs embodied innovation, creativity, and unconventional thinking that inspired not only the technology industry but also many people around the world.
