Dropshipping je inovatívny spôsob distribúcie, pri ktorom prevádzkovateľ online obchodu nepotrebuje vlastné skladové priestory. To je umožnené tým, že výrobca alebo veľkoobchod posielajú tovar priamo zákazníkom konkrétneho online obchodu.

Ako funguje Dropshipping?

  1. Prevádzkovateľ online obchodu uzavrie dohodu s veľkoobchodom alebo výrobcom, ktorý umožňuje dropshipping.
  2. Veľkoobchod pošle prevádzkovateľovi XML datový feed. Tento si vyberie produkty, importuje ich do svojho online obchodu a stanoví maloobchodnú cenu.
  3. Keď zákazník nakúpi v online obchode, obchodník zaplatí veľkoobchodnú cenu a veľkoobchod odošle tovar priamo zákazníkovi. Informácie o zásielke na balíku naznačujú, že položka bola zakúpená v online obchode obchodníka, nie vo veľkoobchode. Prevádzkovateľ online obchodu obvykle získava zisk vytvorený rozdielom medzi veľkoobchodnou a maloobchodnou cenou. Zároveň odpadajú náklady na pracovnú silu a sklad, ktoré by obchodník musel platiť, ak by nespoliehal na dropshipping. Taktiež spracovanie faktúr a reklamácií je v kompetencii prevádzkovateľa online obchodu, keďže objednávky sú priradené konkrétnemu internetovému obchodu.

Rozdiel oproti jednoduchému posielaniu objednávok

Dropshipping sa často zamieňa s jednoduchým posielaním objednávok, pri ktorom prevádzkovateľ online obchodu dostáva len predom stanovenú províziu za predaný tovar. Tento model však nie je zďaleka tak výhodný a neponúka obchodníkovi potrebnú podnikateľskú slobodu.

Pre koho je vhodný Dropshipping?

Dropshipping je ideálne riešenie pre menšie alebo novovzniknuté online obchody, ktorých majitelia nemajú vlastné skladové priestory alebo dostatočný počet pracovníkov na odosielanie objednávok. Vďaka dropshippingu sa môže obchodník sústrediť na propagáciu svojho online obchodu, získavanie nových zákazníkov a zvyšovanie obratu. Dodávateľa pre svoje produkty môžete nájsť tu.
