More info
How does Google Ads (Google Adwords) work?
Google displays ads to people who are searching for something or are within the content network (Google Display Network), which is connected to the Google Ads advertising system.
Procedure:
- Upload materials for the ad (texts, images, videos, etc.) to the system.
- Determine targeting for a specific audience.
- Set up a bidding strategy and keywords that the ad will be displayed for.
The platform operates as an auction system and also on a pay-per-click (PPC) basis. This means that you only pay when someone clicks on the ad. The auction system decides which ad will be displayed.
In the case of bidding, you must determine how much you are willing to pay for a click to your website (bid). You control the amount of money spent through the daily advertising budget.
The cost per click (CPC) depends on several factors, such as the competitiveness of the keyword or the quality and creativity of the Google ad.
Sponsored (advertising) results are displayed first in search results.
