Golden Digital Pie, or how we shod the world in barefoot shoes
When talent meets ambition, winners are born. In April 2024, we won the Golden Digital Pie 2024 in the Performance category thanks to our sophisticated performance marketing for Be Lenka.
We catapulted awareness of barefoot footwear into the stratosphere, and the results? 33% year-on-year revenue growth, 101% more transactions and expansion into four new countries. During the Black Friday campaign, we launched more than 400 Google Ads sets and increased revenue by an incredible 80%.

Kondela: One-stop shop that dominates the market
For the furniture giant Kondela, we prepared a comprehensive one-stop shop solution that started with a detailed UX analysis, usability testing, and creating a technical specification for their website. By combining UX design, prototyping, and custom development, we built an intuitive, stable, and fast e-shop on our own CMS BUXUS.
Five language versions, thousands of products, and zero outages – and we managed all this two months ahead of schedule. The result? The investment paid off within a month and revenue growth skyrocketed.
The Kondela project only confirmed the power of successful collaboration of multiple ui42 teams under one roof.
470% increase in traffic for Vaša Lekáreň
Our goal was simple: to get Your Pharmacy among the elite online pharmacies in Slovakia.
We focused on competitor analysis, e-shop placement in search engines, PPC campaigns, innovative bidding strategies, and content improvements on the e-shop.
And the numbers speak for themselves: we achieved a 470% increase in organic traffic, 34% increase in revenue and reduced PNO by 19%. And the client Your Pharmacy enjoys a place among TOP 3 online pharmacies on the market.

CK DAKA: We reduced costs and doubled revenue
CK DAKA was looking for a reliable partner for performance marketing management before the main summer season. Their goal was to optimize costs and increase revenue.
We accepted this challenge and already in the initial weeks of cooperation, we saved CK DAKA more than €2000 in internal marketing costs and reduced PNO from 10.57% to 7.55%. From June, we fully took over the entire marketing management and launched the main summer season. The result was an increase in year-on-year revenue to 116% compared to the plan, while we reduced PNO by 40%.

Revolution on Shoptet: AI Recommender
Our AI Recommender takes e-commerce possibilities to a whole new level. This intelligent tool can analyze customer behavior, tailor the offer, and increase conversions – and now also on the Shoptet platform. Thanks to a personalized shopping experience, e-shops gain a competitive advantage that helps them stand out among the biggest players.
Expanding AI Recommender to Shoptet is another step in our mission to provide e-shops with solutions that truly work.
Our first video production for Ksebe
In 2024, we successfully entered the world of video production and creative ideamaking.
Our journey began with video production and a performance marketing campaign for the client Ksebe on the occasion of World Mental Health Day. This project was an example of how we can combine emotions, creativity, and a strong message that resonates in society. We are glad we could collaborate on a project that has a positive impact.
ui42 as the general partner of World Usability Day 2024
As the general partner of the largest UX event in Slovakia, World Usability Day, we once again showed that UX is our forte. Our experts - Martin Krupa, co-founder of ui42 and Dušan Vereš, senior manager for UX and research, raised the bar higher, from lectures to current solutions on the topic accessibility of digital products.
ui42 as a partner at Upterdam
At Upterdam, the largest e-commerce event in Slovakia, our senior CX consultant Peter Angelov gave a lecture. His topic “Run the CXtra mile” taught companies how to win in the competitive fight through excellent customer experience. The cherry on top was our free consultations, which started new collaborations. Something we are really proud of!
Our yellow socks dominated Marketing Rulezz
And as for Marketing rulezz - the largest marketing conference in Slovakia, we couldn't miss it either. On stage, you could see our CEO Andrej Kajan, who discussed the topic "How to surf the waves of digital changes?" He shared practical tips on how to use the latest technologies and trends in digital marketing and, conversely, what mistakes to watch out for.
Besides talking about trends, there was also talk about ui42's yellow socks! Our yellow socks stole a piece of attention and became the unofficial symbol of the entire conference. And what's even more interesting, the socks served as a great starting point for our socks survey. How the survey turned out, and what we found out about marketers, you can read in our blog.
We are members of IAB Slovakia
In 2024, we joined the association IAB Slovakia, which sets the direction for digital advertising. Thanks to this step, we have access to the latest trends, innovations, and global standards, which we translate into effective and measurable campaigns for our clients.
Expansion to Cyprus – a new step in ui42's global growth
This year at ui42, we broke boundaries and stepped onto the global stage by opening a new branch in Cyprus. Expansion to Cyprus is not just about geography. It's about the opportunity to provide clients with top-notch solutions and entry into international markets. The current goal? To be synonymous with world-class digital marketing.

In collaboration with SME daily we launched a new podcast Biznislab about well-known and lesser-known names in Slovak business and experts in their fields.

Rebrand ui42
The best for last? The ui42 brand underwent major changes in 2024, which are still in process, but we can already see the results of our almost 12-month work today. We started 2024 with a bang with a new team that brought new perspectives, opinions, and a fresh breeze. The brand changed its visuality, brand codes, and subtly facelifted the website. We changed the marketing strategy, key initiatives, and KPIs. We focused on new opportunities, new markets, new content, new brand voice, organic, event appearances, multichannel acquisition, new channels. We completely replaced marketing tools, implemented AI, and pushed more for relevant, expert, trendy but also entertaining content (depending on the audience and channel).
This huge change gradually translated into practice, and already in the summer, we recorded more than double the results compared to last year in all KPIs. Organic, direct, but most importantly - also in inquiries about our services.
All the above-mentioned activities were just pieces in the overall marketing puzzle that we poured out on the table a year ago with the goal of putting it together by the end of the year.
And we keep going. :)
